Description
Monitor your SOIL and WATER properly with a digital PH pen tester.
While these are some of the most economically priced PH pens on the market, with proper care and calibration, they work just as good as an expensive pen. A major benefit is if you drop, damage, or lose a cheap PH pen, you are not out hundreds of dollars. (We always keep a spare around to double check PH levels if they are questionable).
The whiteWIDOW team has used these exact pens for over 2 years – with ZERO problems with proper care and maintenance.
To properly calibrate all PH Pens – high quality CALIBRATION FLUID is required. We highly recommend purchasing these specific calibration fluids because the PH Pen will fit inside the mouth of these containers: https://www.amazon.ca/General-Hydroponics-4-01-Calibration-Solution/dp/B017H73794
** Please ensure you thoroughly wash off and dry the pen before placing it inside one of these containers – or contamination will occur.
To properly maintain the PH Pen, a special STORAGE SOLUTION is required. You can not simply use water. If special storage solution is not used, you risk the special tip sensor drying out, and you will need to constantly calibrate the pen. With storage solution, the PH pen should stay calibrated to within 5-10% consistently (in our experience). We recommend this product found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Bluelab-STSOL100-Probe-Storage-Solution/dp/B00CJIDH7Y
** Only a few drops of storage solution is required in the cap. A bottle of solution should last you years!
